Reading the profile

Scores from 1 to 5, in the atlas's own assessment.

Nostalgia score 4 out of 5 Kanto as you remember it, not as it really was.
Exploration score 3 out of 5 Sits at the average of the games in the atlas.
Freedom score 2 out of 5 There is only one path.
Competitive score 2 out of 5 There is almost nothing to contest against other people.
Difficulty score 2 out of 5 It rarely gets you stuck.
Story score 1 out of 5 The story is a backdrop.

The script is the one from 1996, almost scene by scene, but with the rules of the third generation: abilities, natures, an organized bag and a help screen for newcomers. It is the cleanest way to get to know the original story.

After the League, a brand-new archipelago, the Sevii Islands, extends the adventure and makes room for species from Johto.
