You travel along trails in a vehicle that moves on its own and photograph Pokémon in their environment. Each photo is scored for the pose, the size and the rarity of the behavior, and the fun is in finding out what triggers each scene.
Throwing a fruit, playing a melody or coming back at night changes everything. The routes level up, reveal detours and hide behaviors nobody tells you about. It is the sequel to the Nintendo 64's Pokémon Snap, from 1999.
It is for you if you
- Just want to watch Pokémon living
- Like calm games, for short sessions
- Enjoy hunting for secrets and rare reactions
Maybe not, if
- You want to control where you go
- You miss battling and leveling up a team
